Brenda Betty Kiema will present on "AI for Accessibility and Personalized Engagement," exploring how artificial intelligence enhances accessibility for individuals with disabilities and enables personalized engagement across education, healthcare, and digital media. Her talk will highlight AI's role in creating inclusive digital experiences that empower diverse populations.
Brenda is the Disability Inclusion Officer at Tangaza University, where she has spearheaded initiatives to support students with disabilities. Her efforts include securing major grants, formulating accessibility policies, and implementing structural adjustments to foster inclusivity. As a lecturer in Social Transformation, she supervises research and promotes inclusive practices across institutions.
Her Ph.D. research focuses on improving access to higher education for students with disabilities in Kenyan private universities. Brenda’s work, recognized locally and internationally, underscores her dedication to creating inclusive environments and advancing equal opportunities for all.
