Sub-Theme Keynote Speaker: AI for Digital Transformation and Sustainable Innovation

Marco van Hout will explore the transformative role of AI in driving digital transformation across sectors like business, academia, healthcare, and government, emphasizing sustainable innovation and enhanced operational efficiency.

As Co-founder and Creative/Learning Director of the Digital Society School, Marco is a seasoned transformation designer, UX researcher, and creative leader with over 20 years of experience in experience-driven design and community building. At the Digital Society School, he has helped establish a global community focused on leveraging digital technology for positive societal impact, leading initiatives such as a transformation design traineeship, a leadership program, and the acclaimed Design Method Toolkit.

In partnership with the UNDP, Marco co-founded the Global Goals Jam, a movement engaging thousands of design activists to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a Community Liaison for the World Design Organization, he champions design’s critical role in advancing the SDGs. Through his company, Demadera, he supports individuals and organizations in applying transformation design for lasting impact.
